About
Welcome along
You’ll find a selection of my most complete gardens, usually at least in their second year, documented in the Gardens section, with supporting dialogue giving insight into each project. A host of photos from a broader range of my work can be explored on Pinterest, including events and commercial projects. There’s also a board of plans and illustrations which will give you an idea of how I communicate ideas to my clients.
Profile
“Your garden is so much more than just the land around your house. It is the journey to and from your door every day. It’s where you greet your friends and family; entertain them and wave goodbye from. It anchors you and your home to your surroundings, bonding you to your environment.”
Presumably you have reached this point because you value your garden space and it’s potential. I’m here to help you realise that potential. I spent many happy years as a gardener, looking after some very beautiful gardens, learning to understand plants through the year and the dynamic of garden spaces and the landscape beyond.
As my confidence and understanding grew, a desire to create gardens also grew. In 2009 I took a masters diploma at the renowned Oxford College of Garden Design which taught according to what I would describe as the John Brookes’ school of thought (John Brookes is often coined as the father of modern British garden design). I have worked ‘in house’ for several design companies and supported others as a freelance designer.
